  |     |   Denver Living, Entertainment

When it comes to events, Denver doesn't hold back. So, when the calendar turns to October, you know Halloween is circled on calendars. If you're looking for some Halloween tricks and treats, here are a few fun Denver Halloween Events around the city throughout October.

Cheesman Park Ghost Tour

Take a spooky tour to learn about what lies beneath Denver's Cheeseman Park. This 1.5-mile park will uncover the history behind the park, which happens to be the city's first cemetery. Hear first-hand accounts of paranormal activity and spine-chilling stories of how bodies were removed from the cemetery. Hair-raising tours are happening through October and November. Book your tour here if you dare.

The Colorado Ballet's season opener will leave you with goosebumps as they team up with the Colorado Ballet Orchestra to perform Bram Stoker's legendary tale. Catch Dracula at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House from October 7th through the 16th. Find your tickets to this fantastic performance here.

Spirits and Spirits

Mark your calendar for October 22nd. You'll have the chance to explore Denver's Four Mile Park after dark with the guide of just a lantern light. This unique immersive Halloween event will tell the tales of true hauntings, murder, and supernatural experiences. Enjoy the tales while enjoying adult spirits. Learn more about this legendary event here.

Adulting with Animals: Monster Masquerade

Visit the Denver Zoo on select Thursdays and Sundays throughout the fall for an adult evening at the zoo. Enjoy a kid-free night at the zoo. Get up close and personal with creepy crawlers, enjoy character photo ops and a live DJ. Learn more about this fun event here.
