A Breath of Fresh Air Waits Just Minutes from your Door

We all understand that weather can be unpredictable in March, which is historically the snowiest month in Colorado. However, on those perfect days, it’s nice to get outside for a breath of fresh air or a little exercise. Here at The Residences, you can explore the streets of Cherry Creek North. And if you’re looking for a little more open space, you’re in luck, some of Denver’s finest parks and open spaces are just minutes away.

Denver Parks Offer Plenty of Options

Denver has 2500 acres of urban parks and parkways for you to enjoy year-round. If there’s beautiful spring snow, you can enjoy getting a little exercise by nordic skiing, snowshoeing, or sledding. Warm weather and summers offer an opportunity to enjoy a jog, an afternoon picnic, or a fun volleyball game with friends. Some of Denver’s most popular and largest parks include Washington Park (Wash Park), City Park, and Cheeseman Park.

Want to Venture Out of the City?

Usually, when you get that question, you’re probably thinking of a trip up I-70 to Summit County or beyond. If you don’t want to go that far, you can find plenty of Open Spaces and a few State Parks to explore closer to home. On a warm spring day, you can enjoy the hundreds of miles of trails at Cherry Creek State Park or Chatfield State Park. Golden Gate State Park in Golden offers up some of the best snowshoeing close to Denver. Another spot you may not think of other than for a concert is Red Rocks. This legendary amphitheater offers a lot more than some of the best shows in the country. Red Rocks also acts as a place to get some exercise and enjoy incredible views. Hike and explore the trails around the amphitheater.

If you have spring fever and want to explore but stay close to Cherry Creek North and the Denver area, you have options that are all just minutes away from your door when you live at The Residences at Fillmore Plaza.
